Global Defense
Created for the DC Jam Summer 2020 (Theme: "Going Global").
Defend the planet from asteroids. There are two types of satellites: gun (fires quickly but low damage) and missile (fires slowly but high damage and tracks its target).
The satellite speeds vary with orbital altitude according to Kepler's Laws.
I probably should have spent more time on levels and progression. As it is, the game is very easy. Especially after getting going.
Controls:
Primarily mouse.
Click to place a satellite at the desired altitude above the planet.
1 = Place a "gun" satellite (or click the buttons in the bottom right)
2 = Place a "missile" satellite
Space = pause
Esc = cancel placing a satellite

Pretty neat.
This was quite enjoyable. For a bit I thought, "This needs sound effects." Then I remembered that sound doesn't travel in the vacuum of space.
